Restorative Retreat at Whip's Farm Wellness
A Half Day Retreat in Support of Mental Health
September 20th 9:00am -1:00pm
Step away from the pace of everyday life and spend a restorative morning at Whip’s Farm Wellness, surrounded by open fields, our herd of horses and the peaceful rhythms of Chiltonville Valley.
Presented in collaboration by Whip’s Farm Wellness and the Jordan Hospital Club this half day retreat brings together three guided experiences: Equine Facilitated Learning, a guided, non-riding experience with horses which encourages presence, connection and self-awareness; gentle Yoga to nourish mind and body through movement and breath; and an immersive Sound Bath, offering time for deep rest and relaxation.
Visiting Whip’s Farm, a historic 200-acre family-owned working farm along scenic Old Sandwich Road, is an experience in itself. The sights and sounds of the pastoral landscape offer an incredible setting for this retreat and an opportunity to slow down and be with the beauty of the natural world.
A Retreat with a Greater Purpose
Proceeds from this special event will benefit behavioral and mental health services at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital of Plymouth. Your participation will help provide needed funding for crisis intervention services, short-term counseling, early prevention programs as well as connection to community resources and community outreach.
Through this unique collaboration, our hope is to create a gathering which supports individual well-being while contributing to the mental and emotional health of our neighbors. Come join us at Whip’s Farm and experience how reconnecting with self, the horses and the land can bring ease to mind and body and know your presence is also supporting the health of our shared community.
